A taste of Palm Beach

When in Sydney, i highly recommend a trip to the Norther Beaches. The Northern most suburbs where wearing bikinis and board-shorts is a common sighting, where the beaches are our second home and where the infamous "Summer Bay" resides (for all those Home and Away addicts).

The most scenic and spectacular day trips is (if coming from sydney city) to catch the ferry from Circular Quay to the stunning Manly Beach. You can then venture further north via buses or car weaving in and out of the magnificent beaches.

Manly Beach

Narrabeen - known for its surfing competitions and aqua waters is only 20 minutes from Manly.

A further 30 minutes from Narrabeen, is the Northern most point of Sydneys coast - Palm Beach. Featuring in every episode of 'Home and Away' it isn't rare to catch the crew filming a few scenes. The wharf that plays a major role can too be found here. This being roughly the half way point in the trip, a spot of lunch can be found at 'The Boat House' - a highly reputable and affordable cafe, which is too located on the "Summer Bay" wharf.

Perfect for lunch, a coffee or an event, the Boat Shed is in a waterfront location with a top view. The industrial/chic restaurant sells a range of well priced meals as well as flowers and a few small home decorating items. More information on 'The Boat House' can be found at their website - http://www.theboathousepb.com.au/

I highly recommend the trip, it will be very worthwhile! If you have any questions or want more information on the area, let me know :)
